A Visit with Santa

As with many other CPG companies, the company I work for has significantly tightened its belt in recent years.  When I started, there were many fringe benefits such as free Starbucks coffee, a subsidized cafeteria (with relatively decent food), work team-building events, etc.  All of these things are now gone, which kind of sucks, however, my work has kept the annual Family Holiday Party.  This is something that I personally look forward to every year as my work continually does a great job.  They have things like Santa (where you don't have to wait in a two-hour-long line, can take as many pictures as you want, and even get "professional" photos of your kiddos with the big guy for free).  This year, they even had Olaf and many other activities.  It is a great perk and one that the whole family in general enjoys.

Kai: was too young to understand what was going on and simply looked at the camera with his resting look of confusion.

Mila: has never been a fan of visiting Santa.  She likes the idea of a person who visits to bring her presents, but doesn't ever actually want to chat with him.  This year, however, she was simply shy as opposed to her historical terror-crying.  That said, this year while she was shy with Santa, she didn't have any issue with the over-sized Olaf... sometimes she's a weird kid.

Bennett: has loved Santa for some time.  He is the dude this is all for.  He was happy to get right up on Santa's lap and wanted to stay there for all of the other kids' time with Santa too.  I think he wanted to be sure Santa knew the only thing on Bennett's list from him is a Nintendo Switch.
